Zedify are on a mission to clean up the UK's cities. They have pioneered and normalised the use of hyperlocal microhubs and zero emission vehicles for deliveries within cities - last mile logistics. With 10 UK hubs, they are making waves in the logistics world.
Zedify wasn't to be just another tech-driven delivery start up, it aims to bring about real change for our cities.
By placing their riders, customers and clients at the forefront of tech developments, Zedify are ready to switch up their tech capabilities and improve their customers journeys from pick up to drop off.
About Zedify
Business Needs
Zedify riders currently use a web supported platform whilst completing their collections and deliveries whilst on a round. The riders and hub managers have noted numerous journey and flow problems with the current platform.
The current platform does not reach the demands expected to coincide with the next exponential growth period. This includes integrating with new clients, such as Zara and Storeshippers and addressing the increasingly growing trunking loads at depots.
The Process
The process for designing Zedifys new rider app followed a design thinking strategy . As a problem solving approach specifically used to improve products and services, design thinking enabled effective iterative measures to be explored with users requirements and needs at the centre of the process. Knowledge depth was needed to understand the problems riders and hub managers face. design thinking allowed for this depth to be achieved.
